    • Cook palm nuts to soften
    • Cook meat in it water seasoned with salt, seasoning and onion till it is done
    • Knead the cooked palm nuts with mortal then sieve to get the palm extract
    • Add the palm nut extract to the meat then cook
    • Pick the onunu abun leaves, boil and grind or blend the leaves with pepper and set aside
    • Clean the mangala fish with salt and set aside
    • Add mangala fish, small snails and the onunu abun leaves to the pot
    • Add some salts and seasoning to taste and cook for 3-5 minutes or till it thickens
    • Serve the onunu abun soup with desired swallow
