Unlike the traditional noodles which is usually slightly thicker, Singapore noodles are thin and made of rice and vermicelli style. This dish was created in Hong Kong sometime after World war II by Cantonese chefs who were eager to find a use for curry powder. Learn how to prepare this delicacy of rice vermicelli noodles mixed with curry powder, vegetables, shrimps and beef.

Ingredients
  • Rice stick (1 pack)
  • Shredded beef
  • Chicken breast
  • Shrimp
  • Onion (1 piece)
  • Garlic
  • Red bell pepper (1 piece)
  • Yellow bell pepper (1 piece)
  • Green bell pepper (1 piece)
  • cup Scotch bonnet pepper (5 pieces)
  • Carrot (1 piece)
  • Spring onions
  • Egg (1 piece)
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame seed oil
  • Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Start by prepping your ingredientsprepping beef to be a cooked
    • Marinate shredded beef
    • Slice and marinate chicken
    • Marinate shrimp
    • Chop red, yellow, green pepper
    • Chop carrot, onions, garlic and spring onions
    • Put rice stick in bowl, pour boiling water and leave to rest for few minutes
  2. Fry egg in wok

    Fry one egg and set it aside

  3. Fry your sliced chicken and set aside

    Fry shredded beef and set aside

    Fry till deep brown colour

    Fry shrimps and set it aside

  6. Pour more oil into the wok, add garlic and onions

  7. Add yellow, red and green bell pepper and stir

  8. Add carrots, then add spring onions

  9. Season with a bit of soy sauce and sesame seed oil

  10. Add chicken and beef to the wok

    Add your fried chicken and fried beef

  11. Add scotch bonnet pepper and add fried egg

  12. Drain water from the rice sticks and add to the wok and stir

  13. Season according to taste

  14. Add shrimps and stir till everything is well incorporated
