Pour flour into bowl and add the corn flour

Add garlic powder, then add onion powder, add salt

Add sugar, then add baking powder

Add black pepper for taste and stir

Crack your egg into the bowl

Add yoghurt and stir

Then add bit of water and continue to stir

Add chopped butter
To make it moist on the inside when you fry -
Allow batter rest for at least 5 minutes

Add vegetable oil to pot for deep-frying
The oil should be at least 3-5 inches deep in the pot -
Place scoops of the hush puppy batter into the heated oil

Fry till golden brown and scoop them into a bowl laced with parchment paper
The parchment paper is to absorb oil residues on the hush puppy -
